| Entry: | Nothing like a quiet, peaceful, relaxing Black Friday. Seriously, with everything that has been going on lately, today has probably been one of the best and most relaxing days that I have had in quite a while. I woke up at 9, which isn't too late - I didn't feel as though I had wasted too much of my day.
I took a quick shower and got dressed, and then played some Uncharted while Amy got ready. It really is an amazing game, and I can't wait to get the second one. It's sitting right there with Assassin's Creed II at the top of my list of most wanted games right now.
On Wednesday, I picked up a few new games for my PS3 since GameStop was having their buy 2 get 1 free sale - Metal Gear Solid 4, Tomb Raider Underworld, and Dead Space. Not anything that I really, really wanted right now, but I wanted to expand my PS3 library a bit since I figured I'd be beating Uncharted soon, and I wanted to keep it cheap.
Anyway, yeah, today. After Amy finished getting ready, we went to Imlay City. We brought back the GPS that Amy's dad let us borrow when we went to St. Clair Shores yesterday, and then stopped and picked up a pizza at Jet's, and stopped at Family Dollar to get some hair gel, ketchup, and NyQuil. Nice shopping list, huh?
Anyway, back home, it was pizza and Arrested Development, followed by a small cat nap. Shortly after that, Amy had to leave for work. At this point, I sat down and finished playing Uncharted. It was a really, really good game. I definitely could have done without the parts with the zombie mutant guys in the last quarter of the game though. Ah well.
After that, I decided to pop in Metal Gear Solid 4, only to be treated to one of the awful mandatory installs I'd heard about on the PS3. Sorry, but I'd rather decide if I want to consume the space on my hard drive, thanks. There goes a good 5 gigs of space ... |
